Team work

Most journeys start with a single step, most destinations are reached through teamwork. Build a great team and the summit is within reach, try reaching the top on your own and the climb can be endless. A good team sacrifices for the needed outcome, a great team sacrifices for each other, and a great outcome is the by-product. A great team must be nurtured individually as well as a whole.  Each member needs to be able to embrace their contributions to the team and own their place in it. They need to know that each and every member has the same stake in the team, and the team recognizes their contributions. Each members value is never in question, it is always necessary to complete the whole. Sometimes one team player contributes more than the others, but not always, every member takes their turn being the biggest contributor . Its hard building a great team, but not maintaining it. Every member has to be utilized for their talents, given opportunities to grow, and treated with value and respect. Treat others as you would want to be treated and you will never go wrong. Sounds simple, because it is simple. People are different in many ways but not in the most basic way, how you treat them. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.........
